Continental AG and the Indian Tire Market

After the competition reached success in India, Continental AG is now also looking ahead to enter the Indian tire market. Although Continental  does have a presence in the country, under a joint venture with Modi Tyres. Modi produces and sells commercial tires under the Continental brand name.

"India is one of the key markets for our future growth and Continental AG is interested in the passenger car tire market as well as looking for opportunities to enter the market," said Helmut Matschi, member of the Continental’s executive.
